Ocean Front Wedding Day at Seabreeze Resort
Hornby Island is an absolutely stunning place to get married. Sea Breeze Resort is a beautiful 12 acer property nestled between a cliffside forrest and the open ocean. It a quaint little island that encompasses oceanfront romance from every angle. It was a very special and sentimental place for my couple to be married at. Bryan is a captain; working on the water like so many generations in his family did before him. His family owns a property here on Hornby Island & Bryan's family have been close friends with the owners of Sea Breeze Resort since he was a child. Once Sandra came into the family she also fell in love with all the beauty and wonder that this island has to offer.
Sandra planned their wedding around a chic nautical theme, which she delivered on over and over again throughout their day. Tones of deep sea green, a customized stamp press showing an anchor & their intertwined initials, a treasure map of Hornby island on their invitations, and a hand made sea green treasure chest to hold her stunning blue-green sapphire engagement ring.
The couple was married in the late afternoon on the hottest day of the year in 2021 during a heat wave. These two toughed it out alongside their family and friends who also knew how important this day was to them. Those who came trekked across open ocean on 3 ferries to get to their amazing venue site, and it was well worth it. So much love surrounded them throughout every inch of their day & I was so lucky to witness and be a part of their spectacular day.
